privacy policy govern MyIT's relationship with you in relation to this website and our products.
The term 'MyIT' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 5 Fforster Drive, Lucan, Co. Dublin. Our company registration number is 416052. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website, or the customer of one of our products or services.

Use of MyIT Website Material
This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited unless express permission has been given by MyIT.
MyIT Products and Services
All MyIT products and services are sold to you as standalone products and service, and we do not accept any responsibility for any losses incurred as a result of you purchasing and/or using a product or service from us.
We make every reasonable effort to create a professional, tailored product for you according to the your precise requirements, but we do not accept any responsibility for the product or service after you have agreed to the start of production of the agreed design and/or build of that product or service.
We will fully and professionally support that product or service as expressly agreed with you, and remain available at all times to advise and add new features to the product/service/website as per your requests, for an agreed new charge.
MyIT Website Designs
All MyIT designs, websites, files, code and products are the sole property of MyIT until all agreed costs have been paid. Additionally, all CMS (Content Management System) code is the property of MyIT unless expressly agreed to - cms code is not inherently attached to a website design, just the website design and associated website pages.
Basis of Charge
We appreciate the importance of value for money and the need to budget for website costs. The time that we spend on a project serves as a guide when calculating the design and build fee. However, the urgency, complexity, novelty, importance or any other relevant aspects of the matter (as per the request of the client) may also be taken into account. VAT is payable at 21% on all web design, build and hosting products.
Estimates
We will give you a written statement of the cost of your web development and updates in advance of starting any work.
Billing
Our practice is to furnish a bill for 50% of the design, build and/or hosting costs after all design preparation and content gathering work has started on your behalf. The nature of the work requires us to do all the design and build work at the beginning of the project, and complete the project, before a full website can be inspected by the client. Thus we require a 50% deposit in order to take that piece of work to completion. In all cases we do our very best to meet the particular billing requirements of individual clients.
Payment and Deposit Refunds
We expect prompt payment of all bills, both interim and final. Any queries which you may have in relation to a bill should be brought to our attention and will be dealt with promptly. All design, development, hosting and service work deposits are non refundable.
Receipt of Website Material
All website/project material must be forwarded to MyIT before a full build can begin. In certain circumstances we will allow required material to be sent to us up to a week after a website build has begun, but this must be explicitly agreed to by MyIT.
Period Of Development
All website builds must be completed within 4 months of the build start date, unless a longer development schedule has been agreed to by MyIT.
Comments and Complaints
Our aim is to provide you with the best website/IT-service advice and carry out the work in an efficient time frame. If there is any way in which you feel that we can improve our service, please let us know.
Confidentiality
All information in relation to clients is treated in the strictest confidence in accordance with the highest professional standards.
Data Protection
From time to time in the course of our relationship with you in providing you with various IT services or matters incidental thereto, we may need to process personal data about you or your employees, agents or representatives. This is done solely in the course of designing and building your websites. All processing will be carried out in the strictest of confidence.
Destruction of records
We reserve the right to destroy files and documents relating to completed projects or business, five years after the files have, in our view, become inactive.
