Can you monitor your website visitors?
Analysing your website visitor data is a task that more and more website owners are getting involved in. The data can be very helpful to the website owner, in telling them: how long visitors are staying on the website, what pages they are viewing, where did they come across your website name, where are the customers from etc.

There are many different tools for tracking your website visitor data, but the most intuitive and end-user focused is Google Analytics. Once you're used to Analytics, and used to the daily report of your website's visitors, you'll start to see patterns. And if you're actively growing your business and website presence, then you'll see those improved website visitor numbers.

The great thing about Google Analytics too is that Google is looking after your website data, so you don't have to process it, archive it etc. You just log in and see today's numbers and then flick to last month's numbers to see your progress.
